Senior Branch 225 held its matching funds event on November 13, 2012 at St. Julie Billiart’s Church Hall in conjunction with the Senior Young of Hearts luncheon to honor the U.S. veterans of the parish.
During the luncheon, Branch S225 conducted a free will offering to benefit the Parish’s adopted troop for Christmas gifts and postage.
Sister Gael Gensler, Pastoral Associate of St. Julie Billiart parish and Dolores Glomb, Treasurer of Senior Branch 225, were ecstatic to announce that the attendees had donated $569 to this endeavor. The generous response from the attendees at this luncheon was both touching and overwhelming. A huge thank you to all in attendance who made it possible as well as to the members of Branch S225 who baked and helped with decorations for this event.
