Junior Branch 339 sponsored an “All-You-Can-Eat Annual French Toast Breakfast and Raffle” matching funds event for St. Bruno Parish’s Boy Scout Troop 42 on Sunday, February 17, 2013.
The funds raised from the event will assist promoting the troops’ various events and summer camp activities. The Branch collected $2,626.00 through its breakfast and raffle ticket sales.
Junior Branch 339 also received donations from local vendors and retailers, which provided the 300 attendees the chance to win one of 65 raffle prizes, which included gift cards, books, hand lotion sets, an under the counter cd/am/fm clock radio, toasters and sports collectibles, just to name a few.
Junior 339 Branch President, Joyce Kelly was greatly pleased with the wonderful turnout and most importantly, the hard work of the boy scouts who cooked and served breakfast to the attendees.
