For the seventh year in a row, a handful of members from the Chicago District met on Saturday, May 4, 2013 for its Join Hands Day event at the Edward Hines, Jr., VA Hospital. 

Pat Braun, the FCSLA’s National Sales Manager, conducted an Insurance Training Seminar for the Illinois FCSLA Producers on Saturday, April 13, 2013 hosted by the Chicago District at the American Legion Post 1941 in LaGrange, IL.  

The Chicago District hosted “A Day of Recollection” with Monsignor Dennis J. Lyle on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Garden Chalet in Chicago Ridge, IL. 

On Friday evening, December 7, 2012, Chicago District President, Mary Therese Tylus, Chicago District Financial Secretary, Jarmila Hlubocky and S295 Auditor, Fay Hlubocky attended the International Tree and Holiday Exhibit hosted by the Cook County, Illinois Treasurer, Maria Pappas. 

On Saturday, December 1, 2012, The Chicago District hosted its ninth annual combined Senior Branch Christmas Party at the Orland Chateau in Orland Park, Illinois.
